10 Minute Summer Look

You wake up in the morning with the best intentions, today you're going to give your makeup a touch summer, but when you look at the clock, you realize that you're already running late.
Excuses no more, here’s your summer makeup in ten minutes
  • The first step is to prepare the skin: clean, tone, and hydrate. Remember that the sun has arrived, so use a cream with sunscreen.
  • If you're going to be out of the house all day, use a pre-foundation or primer, thus the makeup will last longer for you. Try to get one with mattifying effect.
  • The next step is to apply corrector, don't put on too much and be sure that it's the same tone as your skin.
  • Continue with the foundation. Now that we're going into summer you can use a lighter foundation or moisten the sponge or brush that is used to apply it. Remember that you should only use a makeup foundation in the needed areas.
  • Apply a touch of loose powder, if your skin is shinny, with a brush in order to avoid over-application of the product.
  • The next step, and a very important one now-a-days, is to use a bronzing powder. Apply a good amount right in the areas that tan, like your forehead, nose and cheekbones. I prefer matte bronzing powders, because those that brighten rarely look natural.
  • Continue with the eyes. Apply a clear-golden eye shadow (almost a cream color) on the upper eyelid, emphasizing the tear duct in order to open the gaze even more.
  • Then, with intense brown eyeliner, paint between the upper eyelashes and blend with a brush.
  • Apply a double layer of eyelash mascara and then move on to the next step.
  • On the cheeks, use two rouges, one earth-toned on the cheekbone in order to highlight it and the other a pink-toned rouge only in the center of the cheek. You can use a creamy texture in order to give it a bright summer touch.
  • Lastly, apply a lip gloss to the tips for hydration and to give you a touch of color.
  • To finish, apply a touch of light right under the cheeks with a lightening powder in a very clear-golden color. Seeing that it's a day makeup, use just a little of the product. You could also use the same shade eye shadow.
And now you're ready, and in ten minutes, you’ve created your make up look. Now try to go with summer fashion trend.

Choose a favorite two-piece ensemble. A look that never fails is a monochromatic: dressed all in bright gray; dressed all in white, an ideal color for summer; dressed in all nude color

Play with the accessories in order to get a touch of color, for example: a bright colored handkerchief, a big bright colored bangle, a bag that draws attention or some intense-colored shoes.

Of course, one of the looks that I like best for summer is a dress with peep toed shoes (as you know, those are shoes with the tip uncovered) and a leather mini-purse.
