We all know that there is that specialization and technique in airbrushing. Now, what benefits do one person get from airbrush makeup compared to traditional techniques? Client or brides should know the 4-1-1 about that specialization, why it cost more and why there are some who does not need them or does not fit their skin. Your make up artist should be able to answer that straight with sincerity and without the sound of ka-ching! ($).

Be aware of what you are paying for as an upgrade; remember a good make up artist should give you either that good flawless, sheer or full coverage traditional technique of make up and at the same time a good airbrushing technique. Not necessarily will tell you to upgrade and pay for the sake of the trend. You may encounter as well some artists who are so good in the traditional make up strokes but fails to deliver that real airbrush work and vice-versa. So know your artist strong point.

What is so remarkable in airbrushing is that the most refined droplets of foundation are directed and deposited on your face through an air delivery system. The resulting finish is flawless skin with natural looking coverage. A real airbrush artist can work with different types of airbrush gear and supplies, even the regular items he or she may have in the train case used in traditional stroking with a few mixing of soluble solutions in case airbrush materials are off the shelf.

When the air fuses be it foundation, blushes, airbrow, eye shadow or airbrush for lip color (yes it’s not just that foundation that is being airbrushed okay), it oxidizes it into a high opacity; you get maximum coverage with a breath of product, a girl’s best friend! The last thing the skin needs is to be weighed down with too much product, collecting in areas that exaggerate flaws instead up minimizing them.

The longevity of the good material of water or silicone based airbrush foundation is good for ten to twelve hours. An alcohol based product can last upwards of 16 hours and will survive the harshest of elements.

Your make up artists will have to know which type of airbrush based material is right for your skin type, for your skin need, for your occasion and your location.
