Especially when you are specializing in bridal makeup artistry.

Photo and video would never fail to have macro shots and beauty shots of the bride during makeup application, and expect less you within the frame and angle because it should be the bride and her alone, but expect more of shots of your nails, your hands, your brushes applying makeup on her.

And of course this is included in the bride's SDE video.

Toast to the couple is little platinum little tan nude color. And I love it.
my Mr loves it too, well of course its neutral and sheer tone only.

This color is intentionally created for their bridal line hence the name of the shade.

The owner of this blog was actually not allowed to wear nail polish / nail colors during her growing up stage by her strict dad (i love you dad ;-) ) and even until now her love of her life (Rookie J.) does not approve or is not a fan of girls wearing nail colors ;-)

She is trying to convince him that colored nails at times can be fun, girly, chic.

and so this nail diary has been created.

Bridal Gown + Accessories: Glaiza

It all started with an email inquiry.

A girl named Glaiza.

She recently got engaged and decided to contact me for some bridal dress talk.

It was a mere inquiry at first I thought, I sent a reply, 

got a follow up question then I sent another reply 

then haven’t heard from her after that.

Little did I know I got a Facebook private message from a high school classmate who is from abroad. 

Saying that his bride-to-be is named Glaiza 

and would want me to be hands-on in helping her out 

deciding on her wedding gown and entourage dresses.

So I asked my classmate, Ronald, 

for her direct contact details to speed up our planning.

She seems shy at the onset of our meeting 

and I was trying to get to know her better 

until we ended up the measurement and planning 

with giggles and photo-op afterwards.

I love how she wanted the simplicity of her gown 

so I gave her a little twist suggestion for the skirting and the pleating for her bodice.

She gave her yes to the design after. 

We are both happy after that - The bride and designer.

I was also the one who did her makeup on her wedding day as specifically requested by the bride and groom :-)

The return of the eyelash junkie

It was almost 3 - 4 years since I had my last eyelash extension.

I just had to because it was my best friend’s wedding 

and I was one of the bridesmaids.

I had quit getting eyelashes extensions months before that. Why?

My real lashes were almost gone, while some left were either cut or damaged. 

And the only way to have my eyelashes grow naturally is to give it a rest for years.

I am a self-confessed eyelash extension junkie. 

I even took that seminar before when it was offered 

during my makeup and hairstyling school days.

I’ve wanted to get another eyelash extensions for quite sometime 

but this time I want it more natural, 

unlike before, it’s too thick, too dark, and too black.

It’s just now that I’ve learned that some eyelash extension salons 

are using synthetic materials. 

It may look good in the camera 

but it damages your lashes 

at the same it looks too fake.

Researching on which salon offers the most natural 

and eye friendly eyelash extension service. 

And today I am happy to say that the eyelash junkie has return.

The procedure is about 40 -45 minutes.

They'll put a tape under your eyelid and on your upper lid.

You just have to lie down or take a nap probably.

Care for your eyelash extension?

Do not rub them of course.

Careful with the shower temperature, too hold or too cold may tend to have those lashes fall off.

No mascara curler for now. (Which is favorable for me)

No using of false eyelashes or eyeliner.

Well you won't need it.

A retouch maybe needed in 3 weeks or a month's time depending on how you take care of them.
